Baird's Tapir - 1999

Does the Cleveland metroparks zoo still have Bairds tapirs ?

No, they were exhibited at the Rainforest in what is now the capybara/anteater exhibit.The enclosure was one of the smallest enclosure for a tapir we have ever seen.It would be nice for tapirs to make a return to Cleveland sometime.
