2012 CMZ masterplan

Fulfilling a member request for a picture of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo\'s masterplan, released in their 2012 promotional publication "Shaping the Future Zoo." (Unfortunately, my scanner is on the mend, so for the time being, the uploaded photo will have to do - apologies...)

Some initial observations-

1.-The old Northern Trek Bear grottos are gone and no exhibits are shown other than sea lions!Are bears being phased out?Perhaps Sun Bear and Sloth Bears could be part of Asia Wild?

2.It appears large portions of Waterfowl Lake is going to be filled in to create Asia Wild and hopefully Tapirs return to the zoo

3.It would appear that the mega savannah extends right into the existing creek.

4.This one is simply our opinion but it would be great for Nile Hippos or Pygmy Hippos to return as part of the Primate Forest.

5.We have heard former director Steve Taylor mention previous interviews that he would like to have the finest bachelor gorilla exhibit in the country and since new director Chris Kuhar has a primate background we have high hopes for this zone.

Famous Monkey Island also gone in favor of Rhino Encounter.

Have they established a timeline for which of these exhibits will likely be built first, or is this plan mainly conceptual at this point? It looks like a good plan.

Lion Kopje most likely is 1st up.A new entry and penguins has also been mentioned recently.

Another thing that we have realized is that in order to move the main entrance the Zoo would have to acquire and demolish the Wyrwas Aluminum Casting Plant which is something they have been unsuccessful in accomplishing dating back to at least 1985 (Start of the Rainforest Project)

Does anybody know whether one would be able to find this online? Perhaps with more details... Also, potential species for any of the mentioned regions would be fantastic!
