The Lion project is up in the air as well as most of the masterplan which can be found floating around the internet. Everything changed when Dr. Chris Kuhar took over as director just over a year ago.Based on recent conversations with several zoo hierarchy I would say lions might not be the next project but filling in the tiger moats could be.I think that a focus on tigers over lions is a wise move.Tigers was built in 1962 and lions in 1984.
Gorillas are rumored to be the next major project !
