Historic Monkey Mountain - Colobus Monkey/Klipspringer/Rock Hyrax Exhibit

This WPA project opened in 1936 with an astonishing 150 rhesus macaques, and almost 80 years later the enclosure is not at all appropriate for colobus monkeys and yet there is a small troop on the rocky island.
 
We have been hearing more and more that this historic Cleveland landmark will be turned into a Kopje as part of a expanded Rhino exhibit.
