The smallest habitat is appalling, for a new complex. Looks like if they don't use specialized glass like amiran, the glare will be pretty bad in the larger habitat viewing windows. One would think, that by now, designers would incorporate overhang in the viewing areas to prevent glare.

I don't think the smallest area is gonna be a holding area for a single individual, more of an option for the cats to visit if they choose. I remember reading somewhere that it might be an area for any future cubs to be displayed if they have to be hand-reared. And yes, as a photographer I completely agree about the glass. Ive noticed more and more exhibits are being designed to get visitors closer, not so much about getting a clear view. (Which is why I really like Columbus's design) I really do prefer an open area compared to glass for the main viewing area of an exhibit.
