Columbus Zoo - Gorilla Exhibit

July 2008. All of the apes appeared to be busy with enrichment items, and the multiple levels make it an almost unique enclosure.

I really liked most of the exhibits at the Columbus Zoo, and rated that zoo in my personal top 5 for North America. This gorilla exhibit is basically a large steel cage, but it works for the apes and is a thousand times better than the large fields that have been built at several zoos. I was shocked at how lush the grass was!
