Aw,its so cute.Strange though that they are born flouresnt orange?That probably doesn't help with camoflouge?

I've read a lot of material about the weird color of the infants. They think its to signal adults that there is a baby in the group. They also think that it warns any male wanting to take over the group that the group will fight harder because there is an infant.

Look at Colobus Monkeys, their babies are born white. Do you guys know in what other species of monkeys does this happen?

I know it occurs in most langurs and colobus but those are the only monkeys I can think of that do that. I'll look into it and message back later.

These are the silvery langurs ( Trachypithecus cristatus ).
