This is Lars, our male Turkmenian Markhor. We have been one of the more successful zoos with this species, even though we have only had them for three years. The last two summers have yielded two pairs of Markhors, the first set female who have been sent to Kansas, and our newest set, males. Only one of our two females is approved to breed.
