There is certainly a lot of climbing structures and enrichment in this gorilla exhibit, and it is obviously copied from Howletts, but is it truly naturalistic? Of course not, and that is what divides visitors from either loving or hating these type of ape enclosures. I can see both sides of the argument, but I personally prefer the more natural gorilla habitats at the Bronx Zoo and Disney's Animal Kingdom to this still-decent exhibit at the Columbus Zoo.
