I personally like this exhibit, and it is certainly massive for the tiny otter family. The fake rock has been used in many recent Columbus Zoo exhibits (Wild Asia is dominated by mock-rock), and that certainly has its detractors, but when I visited the zoo the otters were constantly moving around and exploring the large habitat. The National Zoo's small-clawed otter enclosure is perhaps the best that I've ever seen for that species.
