Polar Frontier Construction, Entry to Region

If you look in the top left corner of the picture you will see a long building, this is our Moose holding building. The entry into Polar Frontier will be right next to that building. We will be downsizing our enormous Timber Wolf exhibit and a path will be constructed. The only problem is that this path will intersect a major service road. I wonder how they will get around that!

How much space will the wolves lose? Also, how many polar bears will the zoo be receiving, and from where?

The wolves will lose about 1/3 of their exhibit, which is around 8,000 sq. ft. We plan to open with 1.2 polar bears, however we can hold many more. We had multiple plans in place to secure bears - Aquila (14 year male from Louisville), Aurora and Anana (3 year females from Toledo) and a few others. However all of the bears we wanted have been sent to other facilities or the zoos have backed out of the loan. I dont think we have any polar bears loans worked out permanently. The exhibit will probably be done by fall this year but might not have the polar bears.
