This looks really great. Columbus is continuing its trend in creating one of the world's great zoos. When you look at what a complete shambles it was when Jack Hanna took over, and how he completely turned it around, it shows what can be done with a zoo under truly dynamic leadership. My impression is that Thane Maynard is doing the same thing in nearby Cincinnati.
I wonder when columbus zoo opens its new africa section if they will have more viewing for the polar bear? since the two areas are so close together. I hope

I know there's a lot of views already. I'm just sayin I'm wondering if they will have viewing from the other side of the exhibit when Africa is built cause its right behind it. And also probably a couple of years from now there will be more than just the 2 females that reside there. Jack Hannah said it was built for cubs and breeding purposes too. It could be the next arctic ring of life.
