That's interesting, because I've never seen a sign like that before!

Kangaroo, Koala, Wombat, even Echidna - but never platypus!

where is this sign? I mean, is it in a pretend platypus enclosure, or just in a random corner of a building....? Is there a point to it?

the sign is in the Roadhouse in the Voyage to Australia exhibit its a indoor nocturnal exhibit displaying animals like Woylie, Prevost's Squirrel, Brown Kiwi, Tawny Frogmouth,Fishing cat,Matschie's Tree Kangaroo,Tiger Quoll & Feathertail Gliders. its in the left hand corner right when you walk into the nocturnal setting. theres a little area with a pond and little bit of land i guess to show you what type of habitat the platypus lives in. It would be great if columbus zoo someday would be able to exhibit the platypus. That build would provide the perfect environment for that species.

Hm...I wonder why the Australian government is so uptight about it.
