To be honest, I think that unless there's a lot of trees that are capable of being used to form an escape proof exhibit (not easy in a temperate zone) orangs are best done roofed over. They are very arboreal. The design of this enclosure would be better for gorillas IMHO. I'm not sure there's enough climbing space even for chimps really.
