Here is an updated, cropped version of one of my older photos. The old ones can be deleted.
when i went in august & october across from the tiger quolls was the baby kiwi bird. what are they doing with the baby kiwis since it sounds like the sugar gliders took it over. Im from pittsburgh and the national avairy told me there getting a kiwi bird this spring and putting him on exhibit. Im wondering if it's one of the columbus baby kiwis.

Are you sure the kiwi chick wasn't in the Banded Palm Civet exhibit? The Feathertail Gliders, not Sugar Gliders, have been on exhibit for years and they have quite a large colony. Upwards of forty animals, I believe. I couldn't see the zoo wanting to move the colony off exhibit. I guess they could've though.

When I was last at the zoo in October, the old Banded Palm Civet enclosure was home to a tawny frogmouth. The baby kiwi was in the feathertails usually spot. Not sure where the gliders and bats are in the meantime.

I stand corrected :p From Team Tapir's post it seems that thr Feathertail Gliders are back on display. It'll be interesting to see if the fruit bats reappear.

The former civet enclosure is now brown kiwi because-
After the civet died, the brush-tailed bettongs and Prevost's squirrels moved into the enclosure, and then recently both species were deacquisitioned and the brown kiwi from across the Roadhouse path was moved to the former civet enclosure and the former kiwi exhibit is going to be reworked for a new animal.
