Andes Adventure Conceptual Plans

April 19th, 2015: These are the plans for Andes Adventure, the initial South American exhibit plan before their current South American Adventure. Although outdated in terms of some species, it provides a glimpse into what South American Adventure will look like.

Are these plans even remotely similar to how Pampas Plains ended up looking like? Also, whatever happened to the vicunas that the zoo was supposed to have in its collection?

@snowleopard Pampas Plains ended up with the peccaries and anteaters, but not the tapirs and capybara. The Darwin's Rheas were also replaced with Greater Rheas. The actual exhibit also ended up being less ambitious in terms of design, with no mixed-species exhibits, and rockwork and water features replaced by chain-link fencing.
Apparently the Vicuña deal fell through, unfortunately.
