African elephant (Loxodonta africana) enclosure. The Olmense Zoo has two female African elephants, I believe they are former circus elephants. Other animals, like the cranes, zebras, lechwes and oryxes can access the elephant area. The elephant enclosure is acceptable, but not a terrific exhibit.
