Channel Island Fox/Porcupine Exhibit

July 14th, 2011.
I thought foxes sometimes ate porcupine? I am thinking of red foxes, but still how does this exhibit work out? I wonder if their fox has ever been harmed.

Channel Island foxes are a species of grey fox and are too small to eat a porcupine. They eat small rodents, invertebrates, and plant material.

I don't think that they would put the fox in with the porcupine without making sure that they were compatible first.
