LOTS of wallabies and a muntjac (April 19th, 2015)

Here are some of the Olmense Zoo's red-necked wallabies (Macropus rufogriseus). The exhibit was certainly well-populated with at least 10 and possibly as much as 15 red-necked wallabies and 4 male Chinese muntjacs (Muntiacus reevesi). The Olmense Zoo seems to be breeding a lot of red-necked wallabies, as I spotted at least 5 females with a baby in the pouch. A few years ago, they did a swap with Hannover Zoo, exchanging 7 wallabies for 3 springboks for the savannah exhibit.
