They really build a new jaguar exhibit ? Thanks God, the Jaguar exhibit at he DWA is probably the worst of its kind in the USA.

Not actually an exhibit but rather a new outdoor off exhibit yard for the jaguar(s). As they will spend most of their time in this outdoor yard it seems like it will be a huge improvement.

Yes it is indeed on the roof. The DWA is located in Downtown Dallas so available space is at a premium, so the new holding area is on the roof. When I drove by a few days ago this new area looked quite lush, but I was just seeing it from a nearby highway so I'm in no place to comment on its current status.

They had an outdoor exhibit for a shoebill on the roof also. Unfortunately, the bird was killed by an accident.

@Charly: A shoebill (stork) in the Dallas World Aquarium !!!???? Really?!! Where was its exhibit? And do you have any pictures about it?

The stork is long gone. Its exhibit was in the outside African area where I think Saddle-Billed Storks are now.
