A little Olmense Zoo history here. This is the building that preceded the present savannah building (constructed 2010-2011). The old building also had a walkway and a viewing area with stables underneath, but there were fewer stables of lower quality. There were fewer species on the savannah at the time, and no giraffes or elephants. The current savannah building is clearly a pretty big improvement.
