When did these animals arrive, as they're not listed on ISIS ? Or does Dallas not subscribe?

As at 23 December, the listings shown for this animal were 1:2 in Belfast, 1:1 in Colchester, and 0:1 in Mulhouse within Europe; and 1:3 at Omaha.

It would be good to think that these institutions will work together to get this lovely animal established in captivity.

They arrived at the same time that the animals in Omaha arrived in late 2009 I believe. They have already bred successfully a few times here with two offspring. DWA is now the only facility to hold both genera of Saki at the same time.

Mulhouse has both Pithecia pithecia and Chiropotes utahickae, I believe.

I stand possibly corrected. I'm just going on information told to me by a much more credible source than myself. At least true for the US collections at any rate.

Singapore holds Pithecia pithecia and Chiropotes santanas, although the latter is currently not on display.
