This indoor facility features a lush wonderland of exhibits mostly of the Tropical Americas and is more of a small zoo than an aquarium. It features Jaguars, Giant River Otters, Manatees, Howler Monkeys, Flamingos, Crocodiles, Sloths, Bats, Anaconda, and other monkeys birds and reptiles in addition to its aquariums.

leopoldii are wonderful fish and these look like big ones. Do you know if they have bred them?

I do not know if they have, but I wouldn't be surprised...I think they had more of them in another exhibit too.

Maybe the tank is just a little bit to small for that numbers of big rays ? And terrapins also ?

The DWA is a very commerical facillity.

Overcrowded,....
Space wasted for too much rockwork, visitor path and background-illusion instead of making it useful for the animals.

maybe the photo gives a false idea, but I agree with the Germans. Far too small for the size and number of rays in there.

The lack of size complaints are a common trend when it comes to Dallas World Aquarium, although there are still many ZooChatters that adore the place. The rarities in the collection are unbelievable.
