What are your thoughts on this aquarium?

Do they still have a yapok and giant otters?

I honestly love the place even though some of the exhibit are a wee bit on the small side. No yapok, but yes to the GROs.

Happy memories of boyhood visits to the Moonlight World in the 1970s.

Alas, but they were labour intensive. London's animals were kept in permanent quarantine, which was justified - an unfortunate ferret that was kept as a control animal in a cage next to them contracted rabies.

What protocols do DWA have for these animals? Come to that, how prevalent is rabies in the USA? As many overseas visitors to the UK will probably know, we don't have rabies here and we have very tough laws designed to keep it out.

Wish I knew the answers. We do have rabies here, but it's not too common.

As far as I know vampire bats in the UK would still have to be kept in permanent quarantine.
