Thanks. The DWA has 7 species of Tamarin/Marmosets (plus 5 species of other New World primates). Probably the biggest collection in the US.

I'm rather fond of this species - I could swear that I uploaded a photo of a Twycross individual a year or so ago, but it seems to have gone missing......

I think Wildlife World has five:

common marmoset
geoffroys marmoset
cotton top tamarin
golden lion tamarin
red handed tamarin

May i ask what´s the difference between tamarin and marmoset? They have the same name in Portuguese.

'Tamarin' is used for the genera Saguinus and Leontopithecus, 'marmoset' for Callithrix, Cebuella, Callibella and Mico (and very occasionally Callimico, otherwise simply known as the Geoldi's Monkey).

I think there is a difference in dentition (always a favourite of the mammal taxonomist) that separates them, but I don't know the details off the top of my head.

Pretty much; the dentition and jawbones of the marmosets are adapted to enable them to strip bark from trees, enabling them to feed on the exudates produced.
