Orinoco Rainforest - River Exhibit

April 2013. For details, see my review http://www.zoochat.com/22/review-dallas-world-aquarium-350667/ . This exhibit contains Antillean manatee, Arrau side-necked turtle, Arapaima, Pacu, Red-tailed catfish, Fork-snouted catfish, Shovel-nosed catfish, Black-banded leporinus, and Polka-dot stingray.
Wow, impressive. Is this the tank once meant to house river dolphins? 'Is there a tank of acceptable size to separate an animal? I assume it's an adult manatee, so the arapaimas are of good size,...! I also like the bunch of red-tailed catfish in this picture, as you regularly only see single specimens on the ground.
 
It looked like there is a holding tank that adjoins this one, but I doubt it is very large and must be in an interior room below the giant otter exhibit area. I am not sure if they planned to hold river dolphin or not.
