Mundo Maya - Cenote Exhibit

April 2013. For details, see my review http://www.zoochat.com/22/review-dallas-world-aquarium-350667/ . This exhibit contains Blacknose shark, Brown shark, Bonnethead shark, Goliath grouper, Freshwater sawfish, Southern stingray, and Spotted eagle ray.

Now this is a truly wonderful exhibit in terms of visitor perspective, and it resembles a similar structure at the excellent Steinhart Aquarium in San Francisco. Seeing aquatic critters swimming overhead is nothing new to seasoned zoo visitors but then being able to view the treetops in the watery distance offers up a high level of excitement.
