I have to ask Animaldude, what exactly is your obsession with knowing every single animal's name at every single zoo? You have to know that sometimes, some of these animals might not have a name.
Since Animaldude brought up this old photo, I must ask, when did you seen the tapirs in the large mammal building. This has always been their area since the '70's. They've only been moved out of this area when renovations had to be done to their area.
the thing is that I like to find out names because then there's that feeling that each animal might have some humanlike traits and personalities if you know who the animal actually is
