Wow, that's a great klipspringer exhibit! Too bad you can only see them from the monorail (I think). I DO LIKE zoo monorails, I just wish Dallas had a walking path underneath it for those of us who want to watch the animals longer (and take sharp photos).
You can actually see the Klips from the Nature Trail in the Kopje. This habitat is actually under construction right now to get it ready for our new herd of Nubian Ibex!! We are just waiting for the month of rain to stop long enough to finish the construction.
As much as I love the monorail, deep down I do agree with you that there should be a walking train, but the layout of the zoo actually prohibits it.
