Where to start on this building. It is one of the oldest buildings on grounds from 1936 or so. Originally it was the zoo's administration office. At other times it has been a Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream store and a Subway. Now it is Bug U! It is home to all sorts of native Texan insects and other arthropods. The guy who runs it has been doing a lot of renovation and it is looking quite nice on the inside. It houses a huge collection in the basement which is constantly updated due to our insect keepers constant collecting outings. I might try and get some interior photos and post them.
