The smallest aviaries of the Raptor Route are in the front, closest to the entrance of the Tropics Hall and that of the Crane Promenade and Raptor Route. Towards the back of the Raptor Route, the aviaries get larger, with the last raptor aviary, the bald eagle aviary, being the large one. This aviary holds long-legged buzzards (Buteo rufinus).
