Since the opening of this magnificent addition to one of America's best zoos, has Dallas come even remotely close to hitting the magic one-million mark for annual attendance? The last I heard the numbers were at around 800,000 while nearby Fort Worth Zoo hits 1 million each year and is one of 36 American zoos to meet that total each year.
