Hey GeoMorph, I read your review and this is a follow-up question.
Does the older part of the Africa complex (i.e., the gorilla trail and the monorail loop) seamlessly blend into the new part of the complex (Giants of the Savanna), or are there any noticeable signs that there is a 20 year gap in development of the complex?
From pictures and video that I've seen the older part of Africa still looks really good.
Both parts of this half of the zoo are great, there is certainly a different feeling to the two parts: Wilds of Africa is lusher and features simulated rockwork that looks like rock, while Giants of the Savanna is sunnier and features simulated rockwork that looks like mudbanks.
