Yes, the elephants, rhinos, and tapirs rotate through all the exhibits, except the clouded leopards, gibbon islands, and tapir specific exhibit. The gibbon island only passes over the bridge.
@Pacarana: speaking of clouded leopard how come you didnt take a pic of there exhibit? I actually like TEP. It will get better in the coming years. another question do you think in the future they might be able to add more species to TEP? Do they have any extra space? thks again Pacarana for all the great pics
I like TEP very much too. I defiantly don't think it's a bad exhibit. Just not the best exhibit in a zoo, which it doesn't have to be. All it has to do is serve as a good home for its inhabitants. I took a picture of pretty much every detail but it was a bad day to take pictures and I only wanted to put up the good ones. I'll get some pictures of the clouds soon though.
The most difficult thing about exhibit placement at Denver is that there is no more room to build on. The only room they get is what they already have, so that means replacing old exhibits with new ones. The only species they could get are probably new reptiles. The skink is very old so you never know what new animal will go in her exhibit
I thought that they had free acess to the indoor exhibits so i was wondering if they enjoy the indoor exhibits more than the outdoor exhibits especialy on a hot day.
I didn't know they had free access to the indoor exhibit. I don't think they do. If its hot they'll probably just go for a swim though since all the elephant enclosures have a pool.
