Hi Pacarana, I'm really intrigued by all these photo's of what seems to be a fantastic exhibit complex! :D
I have 2 questions though:-
1. Are these terrariums for reptiles? If so then what species are there?
2. What's the bird situation? Are there many species?
Thanks in advance and I realise that I have 4 questions instead... :)

1. Are these terrariums for reptiles? If so what species are there?

- There are six enclosures inside El Pomar Pavilion. Three of those are for reptiles and three are for mammals. The three reptile enclosures hold:
1st Vivarium - Javan hump-headed lizard, Asian gliding frog ( sp.? ) and Soloman Island eyelash frogs.
2nd Viv - An old female Prehensile - tailed skink.
3rd Viv - Blood python and green tree python.

2. What's the bird situation? Are there many species?

- There are 1.1 Sarus cranes and 1.1 ruddy shelduck.

Thank you for your interest in the exhibit. I would recommend reading this. Denver Zoo: Toyota Elephant Passage

Thanks for all the info and the link, it certainly looks great from a large mammals husbandry POV. :)
I do find it odd to only showcase 2 bird species when you have tropical Asia for inspiration but I suppose they could add more over time if they want to.

It does seem very odd to me as well not to included an aviary, but since bird world has that covered I guess its not that odd. I wish it was possible for the zoo to add more smaller animals ( Tropical birds, rodents, herps, inverts...ect) but the zoo wanted to mainly focus on the large pachyderms from Asia. Which makes since because Denver already has Bird World, Tropical Discovery, and Primate Panorama so there is not much need to add those animals. I also think as much room as the Elephants, Rhinos, and Tapirs can get the better.
