I'm fairly certain that the orangutans within the brilliant Primate Panorma complex have access to at least a trio of large, mature trees. Can anyone confirm that? It is a rare event to see such massive, natural climbing structures (trees!) in with a species that is notoriously difficult to construct terrific exhibits for.

I haven't gotten a good looks at all the trees in the exhibit but I know that there is certainly more than 3, more around 5/6 mature trees. Though there aren't many artificial climbing devices in the exhibit which seem to be more favored by the older orang pair at the zoo(pictured). the younger pair and their baby spend more time in the trees. One interesting thing about this exhibit is that there is a golf coarse behind the exhibit and almost all the orangs spend some time sitting on that tree to the right, watching the golfers.
