I've visited Denver Zoo in 2006 and 2012 and on both occasions it was very exciting seeing gorillas through the dense foliage in their large habitat. I wonder if the gorillas spend most of their time indoors during the winter, as this photo would look very different if taken in the middle of a cold snap in Denver. The zoo has amazing primate exhibits but in the winter I'm sure that all of the critters are huddled indoors by their heaters.
