Its a shame that they do not have connected holding areas to allow rotation between the fishing cats and asian small-clawed otters. In fact, this looks like a much better suited habitat for the otters, whilst the fishing cat would probably be a better candidate for the otter exhibit !
Judging by this picture there is not nearly enough land area for small clawed otters, thier husbandry manual recommends something like 4:1 land to water ratio. Though i agreewith the right design that the two species could pretty easily be used on a rotational basis.
Remember how Predator Ridge used to look? Yeah, not very good. But now it looks very natural and immersive and is one of the best lion exhibits in the country.
