There are many angles in this huge habitat where it is difficult to ascertain where the enclosure ends, and the enormous stone inuksuk (pile of gray rocks in the grass) is a nice touch. Inuit people have used inuksuks as a point of reference or navigational device.
Not to quibble (but here I go). Is it really one of the very best exhibits on earth when the effort to create the illusion of wilderness is so obviously subverted by failing to hide the closed circuit tv camera mount? Other shots clearly reveal the concrete moat walls, when just another foot of soil would have hidden it. This sort of attention to detail is the hallmark of great exhibits at Seattle, Arizona Sonora and the Bronx. I think the failure to consider these "minor" details takes this otherwise fantastic exhibit down a notch.
