Amphibiville - Detroit Zoo

Actually a very good idea. Conservation should not only be restricted to exotic countries, but start locally. Giving local native wildlife a habitat within the zoo is one very nice option. Two thumbs up.

The cool thing about the massive swamp is that it is directly outside what is generally regarded as a fantastic, award-winning amphibian building called "Amphibiville". Visitors to the zoo can stroll through the exhibits inside and then marvel at the 2-acre wetlands area outdoors.

I was surprised to see Giant Salamanders inside the main building!! Didn't know they had them??
And then when I went outside, this pond area was teaming with life.
