Thanks for a great set of photos from Detroit Zoo, and I visited in 2008 and have been a fan ever since. The facility has arguably America's best polar bear exhibit, one of the top 5 collections of reptiles and amphibians, a large Penguinarium, massive hoofstock paddocks and a solid variety of creatures.
I'm lucky enough to live by the zoo. I have a membership, so I go 3-4 times a year. Yesterday since it was raining I wanted to get some good shots. To arrow I'm posting more pictures. I know you dont like bear grottos, but are you a fan of Detroits? Do you have a favorite exhibit at the zoo (besides the Arctic and Amphibiville)?
