Dec 2008. African elephant pool.

I actually never seen pics of the elephants using the pool.

I think that they should let the water go murky so that you can't see the steps and I doubt the water looks like this in Africa.

I like it clear

i have personally seen the eles in the pool, but have no pics

@Cat-Man: it would be difficult to get photos of the elephants in the water due to the fact that visitors only get to see the elephant habitat for about a minute or two. The ride is amazing but far too short!

If you look at this habitat on aerial image it is massive and is really grassy. I would rate it as one of the top 5 elephant habitats in the country, and I think the only flaw to it is the terrible viewing opportunity for the visitors as it would be really nice if it had a large overlook somehow instead of a 30 second drive-by.
