Babirusa Exhibit

Dec 2008. Like almost all of the enclosures at Disney this one is very well designed.

It is interesting to note that most of the enclosure is shaded, perfect for a forest-dwelling animal like the babirusa.

I really enjoyed the Oasis exhibits at DAK. They are all just sort of tucked off to the sides of the walkway. It was really fun to just casually stroll through this area and really soak it in whilst the themepark goers rush passed on their way to the thrill rides.

It is truly amazing (and somewhat appalling) how many visitors lurch past the Oasis section of the zoo. The stampede for the rides is unrelenting and somewhat alike the mass migration of hoofstock on the Serengeti.
