I really love this kind of display. I wish more zoos would embrace comparative anatomy.

What an excellent idea. I am sick of overhearing zoo visitors say that an okapi is some sort of zebra or a cross between a zebra and a giraffe.

The San Diego Safari Park used to have several skulls of various megafauna species in the interpretive area of their African trail section (giraffe, white rhino, black rhino, African elephant). It was really cool because they pointed out adaptations for browsing vs. grazing. Hopefully they are still there somewhere.

Those giraffe & okapi skulls are both artificial.
While real animals dying here are mercilessly dumped like a waste.
