Belgian Water Mill and Brazilian Tapir at Pairi Daiza, 31/08/14

Not the most obvious combination, but the tapir was certainly enjoying it!

Does this zoo aspire to be the Disney Animal Kingdom of Europe? Their focus on flashy architecture and landscaping surrounding the animals suggests a theme park aesthetic more than a traditional zoo one; at least from photos it appears that way.
