In late 2015 Elmwood Park Zoo received a $3 million donation to construct "Majestic Predators: On the Trail of the Jaguar". The complex will feature 3 feline species (Jaguar, Jaguarundi and Ocelot) and will open in the summer of 2016. According to the book on the zoo's history (part of the Images of America series), the Jaguar exhibit will have underwater viewing.
