Aug. 1st, 2012. Coral Reefs Sand tiger sharks grace a huge 500,000 gallon tank that is awe-inspiring to see. There are over 2,000 specimens of 100 species and the bench seats and massive viewing windows make it arguably the biggest and best part of the aquarium in the eyes of most visitors. One cool aspect of this gallery is that it simulates a 60-foot dive by beginning in shallow waters and getting deeper until the huge final habitat is unveiled. Besides the huge sharks there is at least one huge sea turtle and a couple of thousand colourful fish that brighten up the tank. The signage here is almost non-existent and while there are some signs in the underwater tunnel entry point overall the signage at this aquarium is a little weaker than I am used to seeing.
