When I visited LA Zoo I really did not think their lion exhibit was that bad. This looks way worse and is liable to be the worst lion exhibit there is. This exhibit looks inhumane, Los Angeles Zoo Lion habitat does not look inhumane. They do need to bulldoze this and turn it into something like Lion Camp or Predator Ridge.

it atleast has shade, no bars and not a concrete floor. It is however very on the small side. The best enclosure for lions there is (most natural) is one in Australia. im ashamed to say the name has gone from my head right now...

@GraysonDP Im going to disagree on the ugly part, I think the aged rock wall is actually quite unique and attractive. I do agree however that at least from this photo it appears to be far too small. In an idea world I would have them fill in the moat put up some low visibility mesh in the front and use it to house a smaller species. Im pretty sure they are planning on tearing these down however.
