MOLA - Saltwater Crocodile Exhibit

That looks like quite a hefty crocodile (or a very small person). Are these and gharials the only two crocodilians with large outdoor exhibits?

There is also a medium sized Komodo exhibit on the other end of the building. This croc, when he arrived from Australia, was about 15.5 feet long.

Does anyone know if there are other zoos in the USA that have a saltwater crocodile? I know I have seen Nile Crocs at other zoos(San Antonio, Memphis come to mind) but I was curious about saltwater. I know Omaha had freshies, which was pretty cool to see. Would love to see a zoo implement a saltwater crocodile into an Australian themed exhibit.

The American Alligator is represented in a fairly decent sized exhibit, and they have a cool dwarf african crocodile exhibit inside MOLA. Neither compare to the gharial or salty exhibit.

Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville has a few "golden" Salites. Of course there is St. Augustine with its 24 species of crocodilians in Florida.

I know that St. Augustine Alligator Farm, Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium and Rio Grande Zoo have Salties.

shark reef has "golden" salties, too. you can also find them at reptile gardens, alligator adventure and reptile lagoon.
