It is a panel of screens and it was some kind of animal documentary on cold-blooded critters...although I'm sure that the zoo has a revolving number of images that play.
I agree. Even though king cobras can climb quite well, adult specimens tend to be more terrestrial. The (very brightly lit) exhibit might be more suited for a Trimeresurus species, especially when using more foliage.
That's tiny for the largest venomous snake species on the planet . And by the looks of it, the snake doesn't have a lot of (to any) privacy from visitors.
They had a worse one for gila monster. Imagine one of those old T.V.s, the really bulky ones, hollowed out. It was themed, but that's all the space it had.
